Perenco operates three offshore sites in the Republic of the Congo:
• In 2007, Perenco has launched a large steam injection project on Emeraude field.

Operations focus primarily on the production and development of Emeraude and Yombo fields. Both fields are very large oil accumulations with heavy, viscous oil in low-permeability reservoirs.
In 2005, Perenco acquired a 3D seismic survey on Marine IV where exploration wells are to be drilled.
