Belize

Signed in January 2008 and May 2012, the exploration blocks Block A and Cayo make Perenco the biggest exploration company in Belize with 3 656 km2 of acreage.

Located in the Corozal Basin, both blocks offer a possible geological extension of the producing Petén Basin in Guatemala, and in the area surrounding the Spanish Lookout and Never Delay fields.
In 2012 Perenco Belize ltd drilled its first exploration well in the Chan Pine Ridge, recognised by authorities and service companies as a new step in efficiency and a new standard of environmental and safety awareness in Belize.
