Extension to Exploration Contract in Belize    

Perenco, is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached between Perenco Belize Limited and the Government of Belize on the amendment to the Block-A Production Sharing Contract (PSC). Following the completion of the work programme relating to the first period commitment, Perenco had identified additional prospectivity to the west of Block-A.  The amendment effectively extends Perenco?s exploration contract area by approximately 768km².

Perenco now holds two frontier exploration contracts covering two blocks in the north of Belize. Block-A is principally onshore and Block-B is mostly offshore. The licence areas are now 4,018km² and 1,170km² respectively, and were identified as areas of exploration potential near to Perenco's current producing assets in Guatemala.
