Perenco holds interests in two public-private partnerships, Petrowarao and Baripetrol. Petrowarao operates Pedernales and Ambrosio. Baripetrol operates Colon.

The Pedernales Field is located on the northern margin of the Orinoco Delta. The surrounding environment is a combination of tidal channels and mangrove, with water depth between 3m and 10m. The installation comprises floating and fixed platforms with 26 active wells. It currently produces 5,000 bopd.

Neighbouring communities of indigenous Warao people now benefit from refrigeration and telecommunications made possible by electricity generated at the Pedernales Field.

The Ambrosio Field in Lake Maracaibo produces 3 000 boepd.

In September 2002, Perenco acquired a non-operated interest in the Colon Operating Service Agreement. With 59 active wells, Colon's current production is 10,000 bpd.
