The production from the El Franig and Baguel fields is transported to the central processing facility in Oum-Chiah via a 120 km pipeline. Condensate is transferred to the TRAPSA terminal, LPG and gas is delivered to Gabes STEG plants for domestic consumption.
On the El Franig concession, the processing and interpretation of the recently acquired 3D seismic data will allow Perenco Tunisia to identify potential new development and exploration wells.
On the Baguel concession, thanks to the 3D seismic reprocessing and interpretation, two wells were recently drilled on the Baguel field and one on the Tarfa field. This successful development marks an important step in Perenco’s investment history in Tunisia and may open the door to new development projects on this concession.
